Hey guys, today I will be reviewing the "Midtown Manhattan Map" made by efteltje. You will be able to see other builds of his on this blog, and you will be able to download those maps too! Anyways, let's get to it!
Why am I building this? Because I really love New York!
Every building has a real lobby and elevators that go to different floors and the roof. There are also buildings on street level.
I started with the Chrysler Building as highest building in the area.
The map features some of New York’s most famous tourist attractions! These include, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, the New York Public Library, the Subway, and the Radio City Music Hall!
It takes time to get used to the humongous size of this map. I even had to get my trusty friend, Google Maps out to navigate the city like a lost tourist! The Streets were full of colors and light as well as giant skyscrapers. These buildings contained a great number of stores in them, each designed for its purpose. For example, a restaurant having its signature design, showing its difference from the postal office next to it.
Each building was designed practically identical to how they are in real life. Many of these are empty from the second floor up. The only fully furnished building on every single floor is the Chrysler Building. There are over 180 buildings already finished and many yet to come.
